Dearly Departed

I look up
Hoping your looking down
telling me never to give up
and convert my sorrows into a smile instead of that never ending frown

we go way back i swear we've mutated
you were a part of me and when you left i fainted
you have my heart in your hands
i think of you everywhere my head lands

We've had our share of ups and downs
its strange how quickly our lives have turned around
no matter how deep in my flesh i cut
and all the blood i shed cant mend this broken heart shut

I feel hollow and lonely like a single airless lung
i slowly sufficate knowing that once we were sprung
i cant go a minute without having you on my mind
i see you everywhere i go, that somtimes i wish i were blind

Somthing, somone hit me in the face
knock me unconcious and bury me alive without a trace
slap me silly, leave me retarded
i swear i rather be braindead than to keep thinking of my Dearly Departed
