World to me

by L o s tAndA l o n e   Sep 6, 2008

She thought she was over him,
She was sure things were done.
Until she saw him,
That one special day,
She knew she was in for the long run.
No matter what she went through,
No matter how she cried,
He doesn't always pull through,
But he deserves a second try.
She talked to him for the first time in months,
He was quiet,
And she told him how sorry she really was.
He told her it was OK,
She said she still felt really bad,
He said he can't forget her,
She's like his second half.
She hangs up the phone,
Before the tears start to fall.
The memories come flooding back,
Some too painful to tell.
It could start with anything;
A song on the radio,
Something said on T.V.
But either way, I guess it doesn't matter,
He still means the world to me...
