The clock ticks on,
You still weren't there,
I waited sixteen years,
Did you even care?

Are you sorry for breaking your promises?
Are you sorry for not being around?
Are you sorry for breaking my heart,
And smashing it to the ground?

I could fill a lake with all the tears I've cried,
So are you sorry for letting me down,
Or all the times you lied?
Because of you I am numb.

Shut Up,Why should I hear what you have to say,
I'm crying all alone and can't get you outta my head,
Shut up, you never listened to me any way,
This is goodbye, I'm not waiting for you another day.

    OOoh!! sometimes i dont get it!!
    why do parents bring children if they wont take very good care after them!!?!!

    i'm so sry for you...
    but i'm pretty sure ur parent did care
    and they didnt mean to break their promises,
    and ofcourse they are sry for not being around,
    but u shouldnt wait for any1 still, u shouldnt allow any1 to be able to let you down...

    and dunt cry for any1 ur tears r precious and they should be out for someone precious as well...wish u happiness in ur life...

    u nicely expressed ur feelings in the poem, well-written

    A very bitter and sad poem. I have a feeling this is about one of your parents.
    The love they deny us is the one we need the most as a child, but also as we mature.
    If I am right, I can understand you anger and relate to it 100%
    This poem was brought to my attention by a friend in my poetry club and she is right, it is a very good poem:)
