Dear You

by iris   Sep 8, 2008

Dear You from faraway,
who helps me through night and day,
takes me to a distant land,
holds onto me and takes my hand,
side by side we walk along,
teaching me whats right and wrong,
together we are never alone,
whilst you're here, I am at home,
I care for you like only friends could,
we make a difference, just like we should :-)

For AB :-)

Aw. This poem is beautiful. I'm sure if your friend sees this, they'll absolutely love it.

"side by side we walk along,
teaching me whats right and wrong,"

-- "Whats" should be "what's". Because "what's" = what is. Therefore, "..me what's right.." = "..me what is right..".

That's the only thing I found wrong in the piece. It's short, and it's simple, but straight to the point. Good job.

    Five out of five. [5/5]
