The Walking Corpse I Am

by Lyrical Heart   Sep 10, 2008

I found love beneath the rocks of life.
My happiness stretch as far as my past loves have traveled.
Yet now in unfamiliar places, I find unfamiliar faces,
Clouding my sight and emptying my mind.
Insomnia comes at night and rapes me of rest,
My voice no longer heard above the tides.
By day, I will once again be a walking corpse.
