A Mother's Funeral

by Unrequited   Sep 11, 2008

Had
slivers
of faith
stolen from
under
drowning eyes
by "The
Unseen".

shouldered cross
bearing
her memories
in heart's
bleak mourning.
pierced skyline
in graveyard
eye,

a haunted
scar
upon stained
cheeks-

a lonely smile
in
the distance,
under
love's
eternal rain.
