Today i tried to write about you
But there werent enough words to express how i feel .
Last nite i had a dream about you
But i couldnt sleep long enough to make it feel real .
Yesterday i wanted to paint a picture of you
But i couldnt make the colors beautiful enough.
Last week i tried to reach for a star to give to you when i see you, but the star was too high
up .
I wanted to pick roses for you but my arms couldnt hold as many as you deserve .
Maybe i can sneak one into your hand but ill tremble at your touch .
I try to make short stories about you but they turn into books .
I try to have a simple crush on you but its my heart you took .
And one day i will try to give you my world
But it wont work out the way i want it to
Because i cant simply give u something that
Already belongs to you.
It is said tomorrow is never promised
But i can promise that forever defines you and I
The saying goes
"NEVER SAY NEVER"
but i will NEVER leave you, you'll have me until the day that I die.
