I will comment on this poem as I read it, so bear with me..

Every since i saw your face,
Nothing has been the same.
You've placed me in your warm embrace,
To show that this wasn't a game.

This verse could be a lot more powerful if you were to use metaphors.
You could describe how your world changed, using more poetical terms, like my world is full of euphoric smiles.

Time after time I think of you,
And all the times we've shared.
Because of you I'm no longer blue,
For I know of someone who cares.

Again here you could use poetical language..like, He saved you from drowning, giving you the kiss of life..something along those lines??

My time with you has been so good,
And for you my love is dear.
Through all my problems, you understood,
I no longer shed a single tear.

You could speak of love as eternal, nerver ending, all embracing...go on think of more descriptive words :)

Here you could describe him as being woven into you, he's not really, but it would get the message across without actually saying it.
