The Tide That Left And Never Came Back.

[[Not my choice of a title. I let my friend Mark title it.]]

This night has been no less then perfect. But all good things must come to an end. Now darling, I know you're scared because there's worry in the air. Don't fret, we can stay until the fireworks are over. When I look in your eyes I trust you see that I will be the best damn constellation that's in your sky tonight. The heat is radiating from your body as the planes fly above us. You can feel it, I know you can. We're lost in the moment and I fear nothing will be able to bring us back to reality. Your eyes are burning brighter than one hundred miles of fire. I'd kill for this moment to be frozen in time for ever. The rest of the universe would revolve around us on this park bench for the rest of eternity. But for now we can go back home and you can lay with me, trusting that everything will still be fine when morning comes. It's too late to say all of the wonderful things I thought of you, but I'll have another chance tomorrow night when we're out looking up at the sky and the stars spell out our names. Everything is exactly how it should be.
