Her life's one for the books

Her life's one for the books
Filled with pain and tears
The books first chapters
Could take a couple of years.

It's starts with words
Falling out of childrens mouths
As her salty tears
Flow south

She picks up a knife
And moves it across her wrist
Blood flows
down to her fist

Desperate and hurt
she never makes it known
Until one day
her cover is blown

Now she sits on couch
With some lady staring back
She opens her mouth
But substance, she lacks

She starts to improve
But not long until
A boy comes
and her progess, he kills

He touches her
In places so wrong
Leaving her broken
and never strong

Her life's been
one great mess
with everything falling apart
and leaving her with less

But she'll be strong again
It's only a matter of time
She'll hit alot of bumps
But her strength will climb
