Love that blinds

by CareBear   Sep 19, 2008

You walked into my dreams again,
Last night, wandering around in my mind
Capturing my heart with that look
You get in your eyes,

It replays over and over
A vision I'll never forget.
You're smile seduces me as we
Hold each other close

If only it was reality and you
Were truly, completely mine
And I wouldn't have to read your mood
Have you figured out just like a code.

I've learnt when to hold you
And when to hold back,
After all these months I've finally
Got an understanding of your ways

Unpredictable as the game,
Constant warning that you're bad
And not worth a minute of my time,
But they haven't seen the way i feel inside

Those butterflies you give me when
You get too close to me
And the way your lips linger on mine
Long after it's finished and done

The words to describe this,
They never come easy
And they don't seem to flow right
No matter how hard I try

You're too perfect for words
And my love continues to blind.
