No One's Going To Be Left Behind

by last_petal   Sep 21, 2008

I've learned much of this,
In the years I have been staying in earth.
Now as I earnestly put out the trail, I've been working out,
I insist that no one should be left behind,
No one will ever be.

As I surmount much of what mountains in my front,
It is one of the refreshments I have gathered.
Not ordinary refreshment, I assure,
A very special one that would take a big leap,
Needed much of what our heart and mind means.

But thoughts began rumbling in this throbbing chest,
Asking, Wondering,
Why is it like this?
If no one's going to be left behind,
Why do I see an empty room?
An empty room that laid emotions.

Endless notions,
Fearing every breathe as the last.
Thoughts reaching every top
What would one consider?
The heart or the mind

No man is an island
But why do I see someone walking in the aisle alone?
Every course we have crossed on,
There is constantly a name who grasp on
And pulls you on dawn

So as this spread,
Those naive eyes would turn as the whole world
A forfeit to stand on
Worthy sacrificial act
It is no more of a suicide
You didn't lose anything,
You just gain something.

Therefore it is truly insatiable,
For our mind and heart to inquire,
For these are the mysteries of life .
