A Bright Blue Hell

One look at my life
And it seems all's alright

The sun's shining bright
You can't see in my eyes
The shade of my thoughts
The dark of my dreams

Life looks like it's moving
Not barring my way

You'd think that my life is what you see when you look,
The light of the sun, the bright blue of the sky

Nothing seems too oppressing
Things seem to be well

You'd be wrong, though on you I can lay no blame
