The cat and the mouse

by silent turbulence   Sep 24, 2008

Barbie dolls were her best friends,
Ken the man of her dreams,
In those plastic doll houses,
Is where she hid her screams.

One fine day,
When she was at her friend's house,
He walked up to her and said,
Let me show you the game about the cat and the mouse.

He called himself the cat,
He said it was going to be fun,
And then he grabbed her tightly
And said that the mouse couldn't run.

He pushed her against the wall,
And said that it was all a part of the game,
Take that dress off now he said,
Do not feel any shame.

Innocent that she was,
He put her in a fix,
What could she even do?
After all, she was only six!

She tried to protest but in vain,
As he forced himself on her,
The screams were all shut away,
While the pain flowed with every tear.

The damage had been done,
The game had come to an end,
She still lay there wounded and shocked,
What happened, she couldn't apprehend.

Her soul was left scarred,
And he seemed satisfied with that,
Who is going to put an end to this?
Who is going to bell the cat?
