The Artwork Of Autumn

by Poet on the Piano   Sep 27, 2008

A mix of various bright colors joined harmoniously,
Enchanting my eyes as I stare in such bewilderment.
Like a painted mural that catches your heart and soul,
With its fine brushwork gliding across the canvass gracefully.

I can clearly smell the sweetness of the leafy scented trees,
The crisp, fresh air that awakens the least bit of my dreariness.
A light but chilling breeze tickles my skin in pleasurement,
As the colored leaves crunch ever so softly, beneath my feet.

Beautiful, one of the nicest descriptions of fall I've heard, and it's a pretty common topic, being as beautiful as it is :)

    great job, 5/5

Wow, you have painted a very beautiful picture of Autumn in my mind. Your words really describe this colorful time of year. I felt like I was walking in the middle of the forest during this beautiful season. Great Job 5/5

Reading this reminded me of my trips to Brown County, Nashville, Indiana. The smell of the pines, the color of the leaves in fall, the crisp cool air in October, covered bridges. Makes me want to pack my bags and head there right now. Excellent!!!

What a beautifull description of winter, and i like that you mention the smell because seasons do have their own smell . Well done
