Missing my Baby [part3]

The time has finally come; I'm on my way to see
Is it true, or are they fooling me?
Driving down the road, my legs have their own mind
I keep looking back to make sure a cops not behind
My hands are sweating, I can barely keep still
Trying to make a turn and they slip off the wheel
Trembling as I walk, "I want to see him please"
"Ok, one moment, please have a seat"
Sitting there just waiting, looking through the empty glass
Wondering 'what if' about all the time that has passed
There he comes; I feel that my heart has just stopped
Then faster and faster it beats, like it's about to pop
Feeling myself blush, he sees I turn bright red
Thinking he'll laugh, he says "Baby, I Love You" instead
Reaching for the phone, he can tell that I'm shaking
"Don't cry! Don't cry!" is the only thing I'm thinking
"Baby, I Love you too" is what I start to say
Then he says "Mija, I miss you more every day.
If it wasn't for this glass I'll have you in my arms,
Never letting go, keeping you away from all harm"
"Baby, I wish you were out so I could have you to myself,
I'll wait as long as you want, and I'll have no one else"
"I want to come home and spend the rest of my time with you,
The days here get longer; I don't know what to do"
"Stay strong, I know you'll make it through,
And no matter how long, I'll stay down for you"
Exchanging words like no one's around,
It's just us, we block off any other sound
We just started talking and they want to take you away
"No! Please officer, a little longer, let him stay"
He says "Baby, I Love you, I'll see you soon"
"I hate the fact that they're putting you back in that room"
"I'll be okay, I'll make it somehow
I'm so glad you came, I'm good with that for now"
"I love you with all my heart" as a tear rolls down my face
"Remember, with me, you'll always have a place"
With every step I take, there come more tears
Tears of happiness and joy, but not of fears
Happy because I know he loves me
Because he knows where home will be
Waiting patiently as the days go by
Waiting for the day that we'll finally be side by side
