Passing the time in sleep
I avoid this affectionless wake
Instead of watching the clock
And bearing the conscious wait

Preoccupied and indecisive
She's temporarily out of reach
Resting idle and unaware
I approach subconscious peak

Each with our own distractions
But the same ending in mind
We dream of a different reality
Hoping when awake to still find...

That walk in the park
That time in the dark
When emotions and senses were real,

That first talk in the night
That time I held you so tight
A peaceful enthusiasm we could feel

First off I think the choice of heading used suited the poem beautifully. Secondly I found rhyming flow used throughout worked great, nice job =]
I also like how the last 2 stanzas differ from the others yet fit in perfectly ^^
