Senses

by reJoyce   Jan 7, 2010

We're surrounded by what we can't see
Engrossed in what we don't know,
But we can't base hope solely on our senses
Since our very existence is based on a miracle
That we cannot explain.

Our bodies give us tongues and nerves
To taste and touch
And eyes and ears and scent
To remember

But what happens after the senses?
What about before?
Who were those senses created for?
With whom were they to be shared?

Who knows.
But, we mustn't stop believing,
Because quiters never win
And giving up never led anyone to victory.

You're right. giving up never does lead to victory. but i think we're supposed to figureout in life we're not meant to have victory over. this was good :)
