An unending pain

by Tempest   Oct 2, 2008

She pushed him away to spare him pain,
Pain in the form of heartbreak.
She loved him with her heart and soul,
but she knew what would happen if she let him stay, let him love her.
Heartbreak...an unending pain.

She pushed her best friends away to spare them pain,
pain in the form of disappointment.
She loved them too much to risk disappointing them again, she loved them heart and soul.
If she kept them close and around, she knew they would not like what they had found...
Disappointment...an unending pain.

She pushed her family away to spare them pain,
pain in the form of loss.
She loved them heart and soul. She loved them too much to let them go through the pain of losing her to death.
Loss....an unending pain
