Why don't they know?
Why don't they see?
Why don't they hear?
What you've done to me.

The hurt,
The pain,
The tears,
Your joy.

Why these things
You want to see,
The joy they bring,
It frightens me.

I want to scream
At the top of my lungs
But, I am mute,
Outside not in.

You will never know,
The hurt,
The pain,
The tears.

For my father who caused this,
Will never know,
My life is hidden,
My life is shattered.

No-one can help me,
No-one can save me,
For the damage is done,
For I am broken.

Now and always,
Forever and ever,
I cannot be repaired,
I am forever broken.

    This poem was really good i love the subject and your word flow i think there are two lines that could be better worded in my opinion but i wont point out which ones because if you changed them it might ruin this amazing work of art the flaws and mistakes are what make art so amazing and this poem was nothing short of amazing

    This was really good it flowed well and was heartfelt. i could feels your depths. really good i like how your last line of each stanza contradicts the first
