Love / Hate

by Crystal   Oct 5, 2008

I long to feel your touch

feel our bodies entwine as such,

to feel your body next to mine,

and not be left waitning in line.

If you knew this pain i feel,

would you ask if it were real?

You seem to lie all the time,

It hurts so bad the agony climbs.

If we were together would it be this way?

Would this longing decrease or stay?

Would you go outa your way to break my heart?

All of that hurt just for some floosy tart?

I've watched how you walk, how you strut your stuff,

walkin around tryin to look tough.

"Do you think he's mean?" the girls always ask

I reply "he's sweet and gentle, although he wears a mask"

I've defended your work, yourself and your home,

I'll love you forever but never be of what you own.

Love and hate are too hard to conceal,

Unless of course you've done the devil a deal.
