Not so much a poem as a letter

I will give you everything i can
I wont do the things she did to me
You will learn to be sincere and honest
I promise to give you my heart
I will mess up
i know that for sure
but We will never leave you alone
We will be there
You'll never feel as though you're talking to stone
I might be young
and i may not be completely ready
But i can tell you this
I'm ready to give up everything just for you
I will listen to everything you say to me
You will always come before anything else
I wont always understand
and i wont always know how to fix it
but I'll do my best
life is a crazy adventure
full of heart break and joy
filled with so many beautiful horrible things
I'll do my best to teach you to see the brights and not the grays
sometimes you'll hate me
and I'll want to strangle you
but i will always love you
more then yesterday
more then i ever could
and less then tomorrow
this is my promise to you
