Love Poems

by StandStill   Oct 9, 2008

Pop-can memories
of bubbles in your throat.
A thousand valentines
all written in one note.

Sunny days of dancing,
sprinklers on the grass.
Chocolate chips and ringing bells,
counted minutes in your class.

Bubbles make a curtain,
curtain from the world.
You told me one time, dearest,
told me she was the one and only girl.

Are memories receeding?
Can't taste her on your tongue?
What happened to the sad love songs
and you used to play all day long?

Snow consumes the sunshine,
grass dies in the cold.
Autumn withers like leaves that fall
in shades of red and gold.

Didn't mean to write this poem,
don't know from where it came..
Back to writing love songs,
everything'll be the same.

**Um...interesting. XD**
