Love Suicide

She was 16 the day she died,
in disbelief her lover cried,
he now lies limp by her side,
her hand wrapped up in his.

A suicide note clutched in his hand,
what it said he could not stand,
so he held the gun in his hand,
and he pulled the trigger.

Her parents came home that night,
her mother screamed loud in fright,
the ambulance lights flashing bright,
but they were far too late.

They were buried side by side,
their friends and families gathered, all had cried,
no one could believe that they had died,
memories are all they have.

    This Poem was amazing. Another great work from you. I Loved the structure. The last sentence in every line stood out because the three lines before it rhymed and the last lines didn't. Loved it. Absolutely loved it.
