A secret place (Club contest)

A secret place

I know this place beneath the sea
Where horses prance in front of me
A tidal shelf and coral reef
I move around like a stealthy thief

A plethora of colors abound in this place
Hanging around like drifting in space
Looking around at peaceful blues
Silver fish and amber too

Golden yellow curly cues
Green grey rock with mottled blue
Scarlet coral with charcoal veins
Violet trees with skirted skeins

Emerald growth a verdant green
Sparkles below with a silver sheen
Ruby reds with garnet hue
Spotted pike I've seen there too

Moray eels feed on their prey
Great white sharks prowl night and day
Royal majesty the kingfish stares
In search of prey in hidden lairs

The queen of flight the manta ray
A calming force I hope she stays
A beautiful place not touched by man
This coral shelf Gods perfect plan

That was a very lovely description of the ocean. I felt like I was really diving through a sea of beautiful colors and it was very breathtaking. The vocabulary was also great. 5/5

This is a very good poem. You painted out a portrait to me by putting alot of attention on detail and color. Very good poem and I love the vocabulary as well. Keep it up.

    Grant,

A wonderful discription of this wonderful world, not just the corals, but some of its creatures too. You take the reader on a dive, swimming through the reef, taking in all the marvels along the way.

I have looked at the image and I wanted to write something completely different, but alas no time :(

    Well done

    Michael
