Whispering Smile Through Every Fallen Leaf

by WaitAutumn   Oct 12, 2008

The reason why
Answering how
There are no words
Able to paint
The heart desires
But a whispering smile
Through every fallen leaf
Dread of silence
Hidden beneath
A drifting feather
Drawn by a single tear
Shredding its way down
Through the countless moments
Let to drown
Listening by the wall
To her dreams
Of having it all
In the end
Whats to be left
Sand slipping through
The emptiness between
Watch as a flower
Concealed inside
A poets hand
Caressed by time
Fade into dust
Will her love
Do the same?
Begging the night
To sheath the broken heart
Stay a shade
Of shadow
Wait for my
Whispering smile

-never believed in forever -

- pour toi..-

I found the structure very distracting. It should be seperated into couplets within stanzas. It just all runs together. Lots of emotion and nice word choice though.
