Lions tigers & bears & then the wolverine

by trippetta TC   Oct 13, 2008

Thought it was blindness,
a lion proved that I was covering my eyes
Thought it was prowess
the tiger showed that it was just the thrill of the kill
And when I sought strength in a bears embrace
he proved weak all brawn no brain, no ferocity in complacence, they were smoke & mirrors well intentioned lies
I know something that the wizard won't say
Strength isn't always in numbers or sheer brute strength
Small brutal like the wolverine whose ferocity can take down a much larger predatory prey
It's the depth of suffering that measures the depth of primordial odds evened out, in hairs breadth, by every levy
& odds dispersed at long last at length
