Please Walk Though

by ViolentlyDisturbed   Oct 13, 2008

Once there was a dream in my heart
Please walk though my poems tonight
Glance at the words, and make them your own
Where all would drown in my pitiful eyes
And no more thoughts of black roses thorns
Where a lady in dark dressed in white
And the blood stains of our past haunt us no more
Take time to read in-between the lines
Walk though my garden tonight
Look at the butterflies
Do see the stitches on their wings?
I heeled those pitiful creatures
Have you ever melted away with me?
Destroy your past, and run away tonight
Please walk though the forest with me tonight
These dreams haunt my empathy
Glance at the ground set before you
Notice it move before your eyes
Twisting and contorting into demise
Didn't you read the Good Book?
The end will come in due time
The Beast is coming
And we will want to die
But death will be far from us
And yet I still write my poems
I pray for safety, but I know it will not come
Please Bring me home, or leave me be
Please walk though my poem tonight
Take time to read in-between the lines
Everything is not always as it seems
The words may twist before your eyes
And turn into a beautiful love story
