In the Name Of Love

I've always wondered how far people would go,
in the Name of Love?

How long would they stand in the corner of the park where they first bumped into each other; even if rain pours down and wind takes its blow?

Would they make-up excuses just to cover up for their mistakes?

Or would they wait outside the door, listen to every step ?

How far people would go in the Name of Love?

Would they call their cell phone and remain silence, just to hear their voice?

It would be amazing to see,
how far people would go in the Name of Love?

Will they enjoy sitting in a dark room alone; listening to a special chant that reminds them about everything they did?

Their faces, their smiles, their laugh and every little detailed memory?

Perhaps they would revisit the first place they have located as their first date; sitting on the exact same place, ordering the same menu and stare out the window gaze just like the way they both used to do?

Or maybe they would take a sniff of their clothes, smell the fragrance, chase the pain kept inside and allow tears flow down their cheeks?

Leave all the things as they have left it and to pretend they are present?

Would they be stupid enough to withdraw themselves from everything and everyone around them, or will they overlook any chances and hopes that pass them by?

It would be really interesting, to see how far people would go in the Name of Love

Or would they, like you and I, sit down and become a poet?
