Hurting

Conflict everyday causes the mind to finally twist
goose bumps pierce the skin, so clammy it feels like its just been kissed
the difference has become apparent between us
my heart seems to be pulling me closer to the flame when my mind is causing a fuss
to love you was so easy in the beginning but the change has turned you into something unknown
the revs of this heart feel like they have finally blown
ignore me all you want but you cannot deny i at least used to be worth it
well geared just no oil i feel like a piece of spit
i miss my angel that at onetime saved me from the distractions of this place
but now time and change have caught up and now we need a real heart to heart face to face
i don't get the things Ive done was nothing but love you
although at times you may not see it that was always true
i took into heart that you are mine but obviously you haven't done the same
weather or not i am a good catch that is your opinion, just don't play me like a game
you said you don't want to hurt me but in the past little while thats all thats been done
so if thats what you want game over our battle has been won
are you happy with the way you've treated this ghost
leaving my heart on full alert then you leaving the post
the moods you swing around like a skipping rope on a hot summer day
these words aren't the best but Ive needed to say
this past month while you where talking to other guys and flirting
did you ever seem to think to yourself i have a man that loves me so much and inside he was hurting
having to force a loved one to do something you've already asked of them isn't fun
especially when deep down inside that person is your number one
speak the truth if you still want to love me and let your mind abide
if not then go have fun and do what you want because right now I'm really hurting inside
