In the Morning

In the morning I awake with unbearable thoughts
That wont leave my mind because I miss you lots.
I think about you like the rising of love in the sky
That moves to meet the lovers that can now fly.

I've been attacked by the leech of jealousy
The abomination of darkness comes to see me.
I'm running away from it at the speed of light
Until I shoot through heaven and things are right.

That's where you are waiting for me, in the sky
Beneath the clouds that rest and aren't pushed aside.
Hours keep going by as I flashback to childhood
Laying in a hammock and feeling like wood
And wondering if It's even understood
That I need you by my heart to feel real good.

In the morning when I open these eyes of love
I scavenge around the four walls to find you.
I see pictures and white and I find a glove
And wish it was your hand to fit my love.

What a long morning, darling, when I await so calmly
And my mind is spinning still from the white ivory
That fell on my lap with such great beauty
I couldn't resist looking at it-- it felt like duty!

And I lounge between the palm trees in the sea
Awaiting you in yellow sand so very patiently.
Will you come save me, love, or do I have to run?
To find you where you lay and wake you from a storm.

Well it doesn't matter, I'm on my way
You couldn't stop me if you ran away.
I'm coming fast like the stormy breezes
That are so cold everything freezes.

The only thing that can survive my chill
Is your loving hand resting upon my will.
Place your love right on top of mine to thrill
This love of your's that is now fulfilled.

I'm stopping still to hear cannons explode
In the direction of an old man that loathes.
If I talked to him I'd tell him not to worry
Because love will write a different story.
But I have no time to talk, as I look for thee:
My love and passion beneath the Christmas tree,
That is a present already opened and free,
And is ready to kiss and be in love with thee
Just like you are so in love with me.

I hope that when you open your eyes you smile
As our love does kill everything that is hostile.
And don't let your brain sound off a warning
