There comes a random time when you finally realize,
That not everything works as you idealize.
Like a fairy tale unraveling through many twists,
And when that story starts you begin your own lists.

I have experienced that promises are made to be broken,
That's why it's better to reflect before having misspoken.

I have experienced that forever is quite short,
So next time you hear anything beyond infinity never misreport.

I have experienced that trust is just another word,
Very similar to back stab, though many will say it is absurd.

I have experienced that commitments are very rare,
Therefore search with your mind, but warn your heart to beware.

I have experienced that loving two people is careless,
For it only ends up breaking both ; making all three feeling airless.

I have experienced that hugs are more meaningful than kisses.
A kiss leaves her empty headed ; A hug leaves her warm feelings that she misses.

I have experienced that nightmares can be better than dreams,
Nightmares disappear after being awake ; Dreams end no matter what extremes.

I have experienced that planning can lead to fantasizing,
Though going with the flow might ruin any long-term romanticizing.

I have experienced that when a story ends, a new middle has yet to come,
Reality is no one starts from scratch or they'd be known as dumb.

I have experienced that forgiving and nice don't matter to boys,
For as long as they're adolescents we're still considered toys.

I have experienced that life doesn't change, but people do.
So learn to accept that not everybody is who you thought you knew.

I have experienced that in fantasy world differences attract,
But in my world opposites don't end up together && that's a fact.

I have experienced that life can be heartbreaking and cruel,
That the kind and caring one mostly ends up as a fool.

I have experienced that lust and love aren't the same,
Where lust quickly ends like a game, but love sparks like the flame.

I have experienced that you're worth more than just any selection,
So if ever you become their collection make sure to be placed on the top section.

I have experienced that wounds will heal within time,
Just wait for the best because the goods are only steps to climb.

I have experienced that reality can be a drama without a silver screen,
Many will object, so answer me, why am I in so many scenes or is this part of being a teen?

I have experienced that the innocent has mostly faded and here remains the fake,
They think they can take and break things freely, but wait karma is telling you that it's a mistake.

I have experienced that at some point you stop searching for what you're looking for,
Only to find out that it's been ignored while you were too busy trying to explore.

I have experienced that you desire what you can't obtain,
Nothing lasts forever so you complain about the flaws and throw it in vain.
