You always made things difficult,
and I never understood why.
You always put me down,
and left me alone to cry.
You always made me feel worthless,
and I never felt good enough.
You always broke me apart,
and I had pretended to be tough.
You always did as you pleased,
and I never had any say.
You always thought I was fine,
and I was never really ok.
You always depended on me,
and I never let you down.
You always blew me off,
and I continued to frown.
