Little piece of heaven.

by Mister 47   Oct 26, 2008

I know there is something, when I look at your smile
The words from your look my ears compile
It is filled with love, but love falls apart
And that little piece of heaven turns to dark

I know the time when I used to lie down and cry
I handled all you're pushing, the words and the lies
I took the pain from you and you left to die
Little piece of heaven, turns dark and fly

Every time I battle the skies and the demons here
And I refuse to accept the hard, or surrender to fear
Always listening to what you want me to be
And to be cut at last showing no mercy at me

When you will see the cup you are making me drink
When you will see my love, and when you will think
When will it end, and you will stop this rage
When you will forget you past and turn a new page

It can be really hard to turn a new page, sweetheart...
What you need in order to do that is get a feeling of closure and that sometimes is hard to find or accomplish.
Funny how we are all one in our suffering. I read your words and somehow it hits so close to home, really bizar:)
Good poem, you have a good head on your shoulders;)

    Hugs,
