Since the day you left, I've been lost.
I wish I could hold you close.
The only thing i have right now are memories,
The smell of you lingers near.
I can still see your face when i turn around,
Everyone seems to remind me of you.
I wish you could see the misery I go through when you are away,
I sit here longing for you as i write the poem.
It is the only thing that eases the pain.
As loneliness settles in I must hurry to an end,
In hope i can stop the tears from hitting the paper.
