I can try and stop the tears from falling
i can try and stop my heart from hurting
but the question is will i succeed

see the thing is ever since the 1st time
we started talking i connected with you
sometimes i even thought to myself
this is too good to be true

i wish in those happy moments we could have stayed
but now little by little your pushing me away

i dont know when it was that you made me so blind
but i guess in that instant is when you changed your mind

now i wonder should i wait to see what the outcome will be
or should i try and let my heart be free

and i dont know which to choose
because my mind tells me just go
but my heart tells me no
