Where Else?

by ShaunaMarie   Oct 29, 2008

Silence; Accompanied by a feeling that if I speak it will surely cut my lips.
I shared my whole self with you, I gave you myself, I shared with you my secrets.
I watch your chest rise up and float down as you sleep so peacefully.
Your hand is still clasped around my waist, holding me to you as if youre afraid I might leave.
Where else would I want to be?
The sun wakes up and so do you.
My eyes are still closed, but you whisper in my ear:
"Good morning, beautiful"
A smile conquers my face.
I open my eyes and there you are in all your morning glory.
Your eyes as blue as the sky outside.
Where else would I want to be?
