Parafilmine

by Lyssi Lori   Oct 30, 2008

Row, row, Romeo, gently through your dream,
living for your Juliet, waking as it seems,
as he leaves her side, life comes back again,
they're forced apart until they meet in all his dreams the same,

Ro-romanticide, dripping from his lips,
as it slowly poisoned him, she stole it with a kiss,
with his hand in hers, together, they'd defeat.
the shackles of a bounded life, upon their balcony.

Saw through their masks, no they could not hide,
his star-crossed t's and her dotted eyes,
the world was nothing but a star below,
they're bathed happily ever-afterglow.

Ro-ro-Rosaline, vanished from his mind,
when he ran away with Juliet, and left his tears behind,
Heart in heart, hand in hand, such a perfect team,
to the pair of sleeping lovers, life was but a dream.

Ro-ro-rosy cheeks in the sepulcher,
with tainted kiss and gentle tears, he awakened her,
now they've so much more, than only hands to hold,
two statues in Verona---their love is cast in gold.

Saw through their masks, no they could not hide,
his star-crossed t's and her dotted eyes,
the world was nothing but a star below,
they're bathed happily ever-afterglow.
