Stranger

The day I met you planted so well,
Deep into my memory
It wasn't what I was expecting,
It wasn't what I was looking for

You didn't seem my type
And your age just didn't fit right
Two years younger than I
Boy, what would they say?

I wasn't searching for anybody,
I thought I had it all with him
Until you spoke those words
That burnt me deep within

It seemed to go further with you
Everything made more sense
It meant more to you
Then it's ever meant to anyone

Still I try to decide, I don't know you well
Miles apart but close somehow
I wait for you to come online
To see the words you type

The way you capture me more
You don't seem the type to shy away
And yet you do,
"I can't talk to girls like I talk to you"

Why Am I so different?
And why were you brought into my life?
