First Time

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Nov 5, 2008

Will you take my breath away,
in the field, where we lay?
Will you hold me in your arms,
comforting me, from all possible harms?

I will spend my lifetime with you
and we will make sweet love so true.
I will kiss your tender lips,
as you take hold of my hips.

Making love in an Autumn afternoon,
all this time has past so soon.
Eighth grade went by as if never there,
freshmen year we became a pair.

Well now we're seniors, and in love so deep.
We wish to marry, my heart you may keep.
Though troubles we've had, we've conquered them all,
and now we are here, making love in the fall.

So beautiful! I could just feel the love you were expressing with your words. There were a few places where the rhyme seemed forced and it affected the flow but your use of imagery was flawless which made this poem a worthwhile read. I cant wait until you tell me when it happens! :]

I really liked it. It was very, um, breath taking as you described the area around them. The details were great, as always.
    Love it. =)
