Worth

by Kayl   Nov 6, 2008

Black and white,
seem to be stuck in the gray.
Morning and night,
lost in the day.
You screamed your fight,
you swore your might.
I yelled my track,
I even sent your words back.
Days go by without a call,
i heard you don't miss me at all.
An email of truce, words of sorrow.
Waiting, received a reply tomorrow.
You poured out your heart,
Said it was sad to part.
Discussed how your life was ending,
thought you had finally stopped pretending.
Imagined me and you back to two,
only for you-
for you to disappear, without a fear.
I thought you had ment a new beginning,
now i realize it's just another inning.
Waiting for your call, waiting for the fall.
Hesitant to chat, Scared to call.
I'm losing my senses, for nothing at all.
I've said what i needed to say,
Now it's up to you if you want to stay.
People keep telling me your worth.
Sayin' i can do better.
People keep saying you really don't care,
that your no longer there.
It's her i amagine you kissing,
Baby, your not worth missing.
