Take a Plane Instead

by Soulful Ensemble   Nov 7, 2008

Yes, hes got a bag full of ideas and bad jokes,
Trying to impress you and gain your love.
Im sitting in the back waiting for the end of the hoax,
In the end I'll be the one you write of.

I'm only waiting for your eyes to open,
You lose your cool every chance you get.
You can't see that I love you and I don't regret,
That im floating in time again.

I asked you just to draw a map to clear the blackness in the way,
"I don't do it for anyone" you said," you should be the just the same."
I didn't think I was, I thought I earned my day
By rubbing stones together and starting up a flame.

But it is not that way in Spain, you have to suffer in the pain,
Waiting on the strained umbrella to collapse under the rain.
Tomorrow I will take the morning train and if I should be slain,
Then I would advise for you to take a plane.
