I learn.. To Love..but Trying to Forget...

by CanUKissAwayMyPain   Nov 8, 2008

We known each other for sometime.
I have learn to trust you n love you.
For the caring man inside.
For the big heart, you show to the world.
For helping me though out my day.

I have learn to love you more then a friend,
Love you for the man inside.
Love you for caring so much for the people around you.
You are a truly a friend that comes once in a life time.
A friend I would never trade for anything in this world.

But why does it hurt loving you so much?
Thinking about you day n night.
It hurts me deep inside.
Loving you.. Is all I can do.
Wishing I had you right by my side.

I try so hard not to think of your smile.
I try really hard not to feel what you make me feel inside.
I try not to think of your kindness and your words.
I try hard to forget you , get you off my mind and heart.
But why does loving you so much.
Hurt deep inside this broken soul of mine. Why!?

I don't think it was all that unique, and the uniqueness is what I like in a poem. It just seems like another love poem that everyone writes. The flow was okay but not great. I didn't seem to stay on track when I was reading it, and I didn't quite understand it at first. I had to re-read it for it to actually click in.

Aww I love the emotion in this poem! I think you described the hearts of a fair few people; even my own. The flow was a little jerking at times when some lines could be shortened, which made it a little hard to keep up with, however. But then again, shortening could ruin the message you weaved into the words. So if you were able to shorten the longer lines and keep the meaning, you would have quite the lovely poem here!

And as a small note, they say that if you can't get someone off your mind, then maybe they're supposed to be there ^_-

Overall, I quite enjoyed this poem. Keep it up~! 4/5
