I am a dandelion

by Margaret Ruthfi Thomas   Nov 10, 2008

Below the heavens floor
above the ocean of green
riding the zephyr
just as if it were a dream

a beauty that we could not compare
and away from the darkness and despair
it's not a light nor it's a guide
but it is white

if it were to say, "it is life"
"it is hope, it is..."
there are no facts, just opinions
but then again, it is the truth

from below the ground, it grows. so it is life
from above it flows. so it is hope
but it speaks of no truth, no lies, no words
but it sees every thing good to bad

never deny the way of life
when one dies thousands lives
to prove what is right
i am a flower. a dandelion flower.
