Snow

by Jaklynn   Nov 11, 2008

Of everything I miss from home
I look outside and see the clouds
I miss the woods the roads the sky
But most of all the smell of snow
As the wind blows I take it in
And search for the scent sharp in my nose
But find only musty moldy rain
I wish to see the purple clouds
That hang heavy over the sky
When the snow is on its way
It's not cold enough to snow down here
And it sits all winter on that line
Cold enough to be miserable
But not to deliver nice, pretty snow
I stare at a picture I was sent
Snow blankets my house, my yard
I walk outside into the miserable rain
And now I really miss the snow.

Ah snow is so amazing. I wish it wasn't so rainy here, and snow instead. I live in the middle of nowhere, but i could never think of loosing the lovely scenery. Good Job.
