Tarnished

by Mac   Nov 12, 2008

The wind is blowing,
and i can hear the silent screams.
They force their way,
and tainted are my dreams.
Tainted by the foolishness,
Of the young heart.
Looking into the mirror,
i see myself falling apart.
Why did this happen,
why did it happen to me.
All i ever asked,
was for you to see.
Your not tarnished,
yet the cup still is stained.
So may your cup rune-th over,
and you be shamed.
entwined in her heart,
the words you never meant.
she spilled it all over the floor,
and still lie after lie he bent.
the hardest part,
was she believed them.
she'd never understand,
why she loved him.
all she did by staying,
was putting gashes in her heart.
he didn't even realize,
all he really loved was falling apart.

[its about fading love.. lies... an awhile of a man]
