Nor Death will pull us apart

by HyacinthIris   Nov 13, 2008

We were asked to make a poem about losing someone so here's what I wrote.
Please read and comment
---------------------------------------------------

A promise we two have once stated,
Where in the heaven and sea had witnessed,
A commitment of our love for eternity,
Through all the pain and anxiety.

Here I am now standing,
At your gravestone endlessly crying.
Out of control due to the shattering news,
You've left me in the ocean of blues.

What am I going to do now?
What's the point of continuing life?
Happy times turned to dreadful days
Help me now, I'm still new
To all these overwhelming anguish pain.

Thoughts of suicidal instills on my mind,
Cut my throat, slit my wrist, or any killing types
Ending the tormenting life I'm having
From this Depth of Despair, I finally resign.

I want to blame God for all this misery,
This burning pain that's engulfing me apart.
Lying on my bed, waiting for the Devil's signal
As the scythe of Death, pierce my heart.
