In The End

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Nov 15, 2008

In the end..
All you have with you is you.
And to your conscience.
You better stay true.

In the end, you will wipe your tears
With your own bare hands.
And regarding your pains and agonies
Only you will understand.

You will warm yourself from the cold.
And you will shield yourself from the heat.
Your peace of mind is worth more than gold.
And only you can make yourself stand on your feet.

In the end..
All you have with you is you.
And to your conscience.
You better stay true.
