Looking

by Valeria   Nov 18, 2008

As the class drags on
I look up from my paper, and into your eyes
were not supposed to be thinking this
you're not supposed to like me and I'm not supposed to like you
simple as that
but whenever I look I get lost and I think when will we steal another kiss from each other again?
you pass a note telling me to meet you by the lockers after school
and I just simply nod at you

as I open my locker at the end of the day
I feel long arms wrap around my waist
it's you, I know
you quickly turn me around and whisper
"miss me?"
before I can even answer your lips are on me
oh how I missed this
my hands wrap around your neck
and my fingers lock in your hair
the kiss becomes deeper and your slick tounge slips in
and as fast as it started it ends

we end up just sitting next to each other
holding hands
I can't help but feel a pang of pain
because I know that you'll never truly be mine
I know that tomorrow I'll be looking at you
and you'll be looking at me
but that's all just looking...

Great job. I especially like the end line. It hits right where it should. Keep it up.
