Collapse

by lonelynow   Nov 21, 2008

She can't breathe
Body taut, pressed
Against the wall, or she might just collapse
Oh she needs to collapse
Needs to let go
Needs to stop thinking so she can breathe again
Her body's shaking, aching
The whole world's black and white
The whole world's grey
Long fingers close around her neck
Scratch downwards leaving bloody tracks,
She breathes.
